Dcumers live to show off. If they're worth that much why not have a private jet or yacht etc? |

Did you quit a 200K job? Do not count the house in net worth; don't you need a place to live in?
You did not retire? Did you just quit? So let's say you have a 2 million net worth in savings. Only a mo ron would quit a 200K job with a 12-year-old. Not just do fewer hours for a couple of years? You are insane. If you kept your job for another five years, you would be in 10 million dollar savings. You are insane. Who does that? |
|
Ok, op, just indulge me. Was your supervisor a horrible narcissistic abusive psychopath?
If not, please tell me why you quit, and what reasoning did you have to quit. |

Early 50s
$10m net worth, including $1.6M house (paid off and bought for $900k) and ~$1M in 529s for 3 kids, haven't started college yet and in public schools in NoVA. HHI is roughly $450K and live on roughly $250K per year. I do my own yard and minor home improvements, drive our cars for 10 years ( Hondas and Toyotas), and kids work during the summers for spending money (that we match in their Roth IRAs). |
