+1 but dd is now objecting to the top of the head kiss so that doesn't last forever

Sometimes it lasts longer than it should. My 25-year-old 6'1" DS still leans down and presents his forehead for me to kiss lol.

I am going to be a little sad when my kid makes me stop. There's something so innocent about little kid kisses, before the world perverts it.

yeah that is the most unsanitary things for kids

I've never kissed my kids on the lips, and we're otherwise a pretty snuggly.

I only kiss my kids on the lips when they initiate, and the older ones don't do it anymore. It's sweet that my 7 yo dd still wants to! My parents were the same.

My old-school, English FIL is very reserved and not super affectionate, but it melts my heart that he still kisses my DH on the cheek when he says goodbye to him. I hate the criticism dads get for being affectionate to their kids. We have bigger fish to fry.
