My kids are little and will give each other and DH and I pecks on the lips. I think it’s sweet.

NO.
Kissing children on the lips makes them uncomfortable. You should ask them first or point to your cheek and ask for some baby sugar.

Or like how Tom Brady kisses his kids.

Us too, and they were able to figure out just fine that you don't just go around kissing people. I guess I don't really do it anymore with my oldest, but I don't remember when we stopped. I would never reject a kiss from my kids though!

We kiss on lips but I was raised in England where we all did it. ( with our parents I mean)

I don’t feel comfortable doing it with my kids but don’t really think anything of it when I see others do it. It’s not uncommon.

I think this is up to each family. Neither way is weird or inappropriate. Stop sexualizing everything.

In merica we don’t do this . It’s incestual

My 7.5 year old kisses me on the lips. I’m happy to continue until the day she doesn’t want to anymore. We’re multi-generational Americans, but I am also a huggy mom to all of her friends. And you know, those friends LOVE it. Until the tween years kids really appreciate physical affection. That said, you do you.

We do on the lips smooch. It’s a quick peck. Sometimes on the cheek or top of head. It’s sweet.

I wouldn’t mind but I don’t like wet kisses… lol. That’s the main reason I try to get my kids to kiss me on the cheeks. Also, cheeks vs lips doesn’t mean anything about how affectionate someone is.

See to me this is creepy.

It depends on the kid. My eldest never like kisses on the lips so I never did. My other kids do still though (10 and 8) and I don’t mind if they’re the one initiating it. And if I do, I always ask first. They’ll outgrow it as some point but I don’t think it’s a big deal. Americans are crazy prudish and will sexualize everything.

Fine for small kids. My 8 yo would never let me.

It's fine, our kids know there are different kinds of kisses, quick lip kisses for our immediate family are fine, but they shouldn't kiss anyone else on the lips until they are older and in a loving relationship. We also don't do lip kisses in public so a-holes like you don't judge us.
