Multiple carjackings
A bat to the had (that one I’m not so quick to judge)
Multiple businesses ransacked
A prisoner escaped on a free council bus

And yet you refuse to utter the word “crime”

Do you really believe this? It is extraordinarily difficult to recall a Councilmember. The effort to recall Jack Evans failed in 2019 for lack of signatures. Whatever Nadeau's shortcomings might be, they Evans was exponentially more deserving of recall. The threshold is even higher now that the number of registered voters has increased.

I would sign the petition, but I don't have any confidence that a different W1 CM would change much, or anything. Can someone explain exactly what policies they want Nadeau to endorse or abandon? All that I've heard is that she's tough on crime and doesn't do constituent services well. What are the crime policies that should change? She doesn't support vice squads. That's reasonable.

While he was at times ethically challenged, Evans was a practical centrist who got stuff done. That's more than one can say about a lot of the Councilmembers now.

Yet this is the No-Do response, replete with strategic grabbing of POC for photo ops.

The only loss of voice you’ve experienced No-Do is that you don’t seem to be able to utter “crime” or respond to any of the constituents.

She is doing what her progressive constituents want: putting partitions up to hide gross crimes but engaging in social media virtue signaling. She's hitting all the boxes for a DC politician and will sail through a recall challenge, if not get it outright dismissed.
