TST Health’s first telehealth clinic will provide medication for safe abortions through the mail for members and for those who wish to perform TST's Abortion Ritual. The goal of this first clinic is to allow our members to have access to safe and legal abortions, no matter where they live or what their financial situation may be.

The Satanic Temple says abortion is a ritual.

“Samuel Alito's Mom's Satanic Abortion Clinic is an online clinic that provides religious medication abortion care. The clinic provides abortion medication via mail to those in New Mexico who wish to perform The Satanic Temple's Religious Abortion Ritual.“

As I said, this is a publicity stunt to troll right-wing policies. It’s satire. It isn’t actual Devil worshipping. If you think it is, you are gullible.

They are raising funds off their abortion ritual.

TST Health's online clinic was launched to protect the bodily autonomy of our members. As part of our commitment to protecting our members' civil rights and ensuring that our religious rituals can be performed without government interference, the clinic represents one of the most important steps we have taken.

While abortion clinics are shutting down everywhere, TST is striking back. Please support TST health to ensure the clinic's success and to help expand operations to other states!

Providing telehealth abortion services to patients in New Mexico
Providing information and resources, when available, to those outside of New Mexico

Supporting TST’s operations and efforts

Importantly: you must join the Satanic Temple and be a member to get the abortion medication and perform the Abortion Ritual.

That’s right: only members of the Satanic Temple get the meds. Are you ready to become a Satanist, ladies?

You forgot the wink, wink/nod, nod

You forgot the hey everyone donate your money to the Satanic Temple, we are fundraising off this.

That’s cool. They sound like better Americans than Joel Osteen.

+1

Certainly better humans.

Absolutely +100000000

Except you have to join the Satanic Temple and perform their Abortion Ritual to get abortion medication.

That seems diametrically opposed to religious freedom. That’s proselytizing.

Yes.

Except the Satanic Temple denies the existence of the Devil, so there’s that.

You took the bait, OP. The fact that you are so worked up and outraged over this is hilarious.

LOL yes Hilarious _+1
OP is not the brighest

So the Satanic Temple is using the IRS religious exemption fraudulently? They are committing fraud against the government?

No. that would be MBC, Osteen, etc....

I’m not tracking your comment. I just hope the Satanic Temple has t-shirts for its members that say: “I chose to worship the Devil and all I got was warmed over social justice lectures and cringe reskinned internet atheism.” Dr. Faustus they ain’t.

Why is this happening in New Mexico when abortion is not threatened there?

Presumably the pills are being mailed to women in oppressed states where their freedoms have been stolen by fascist religious fanatics who hate America and all that it stands for.

I'm pro-choice and as left as they come, but... you need some chill pills yourself.

Also, there are plenty of places that will mail you pills without requiring you to sign on to their tenets, and who aren't nakedly eliciting donations. Just do a quick google search.

I sleep fine knowing some people are doing everything they can to protect women's lives.

Sure. Report them.

THE SATANIC TEMPLE DEMANDS FDA GRANT UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO ABORTION DRUGS
Lawyers for TST sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to request that TST be able to access abortifacients without being subjected to the agency’s regulations. Normally, access to Misoprostol (a first-trimester abortifacient) requires a prescription, and Mifepristone(the second drug in the medical abortion regimen) can only be obtained through an approved prescriber and can only be dispensed in accordance with specific guidelines. However, TST has requested that we can directly supply Satanists who wish to undergo an abortion in a religious context with these abortifacients.

The Satanic Temple is using religion but isn’t religious? And abortion to Satanists is a religious ritual, it’s just very crazy imo.

Do you donate to them? How much?

One million dollars!

https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/823404757

Satanic Temple cannot currently be evaluated by our Impact & Results methodology because either (A) it is eligible, but we have not yet received data; (B) we have not yet developed an algorithm to estimate its programmatic impact; (C) its programs are not direct services; or (D) it is not heavily reliant on contributions from individual donors.

Well, Charity Navigator has no data on the Satanic Temple.

That’s all right. They’re good people doing the Lord’s work. I trust them.

So the Satanic Temple believes in The Lord and does His work? Where is that information? They don’t believe Satan exists, but use images/statues of Satan and the name of Satan. The use Rituals of Satan. Now you are saying they believe in the Lord, and do his work.

Maybe read the Book of Job sometime?

But, sweetie … you are missing the point. What I can’t tell is whether or not you are being deliberately obtuse or if you are genuinely flummoxed. If the latter, I’m sorry — the cognitive dissonance must be hard.

I’ve read Job multiple times, what does Job have to do with the Satanic Temple making women join the Satanic Temple and perform the Satanic Ritual of abortion to receive abortion medication?

Is it safe for a church/temple to mail out medication to women? Is the Satanic Temple running an abortion clinic via mail? What will women and girls do if they encounter health issues taking the medication?

It seems like it’s extremely risky and the fundraising off it is crass.

This. I’m pro-choice. But no, just no, to fundraising by taking advantage of desperate women with minimally supervised treatment/abortions. There are plenty of reputable secular organizations who will mail out abortion pills and not try to use it to recruit “members” or make a buck off it.

Don’t Satanists believe in child sacrifice?
Seems like the perfect arrangement for them.

Can anyone comment on the likelihood that this will see a courtroom? Are they trying to make a viable case to eventually get to the Supreme Court or is this more publicity than trying to change policy. I fully support their efforts (and I’m a pretty churchy Christian!) just curious what the end game is.

It's already being done by many secular women's health groups.

So, for example, OP's link says the Satanic Temple will mail out pills from their base in Massachusetts to New Mexico (only), if you become a ST member and mumble their tenets. But here's another secular women's health group group, just one of many, that will mail out pills from Massachusetts to New Mexico, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, and Virginia without any requirement that you join: https://care.wholewomanshealth.com/abortion-clinics/virtual-clinic/?gclid=CjwKCAiArY2fBhB9EiwAWqHK6kCJ_My7DgKgi6pVXYYsOeLA7d40mQIi6m3XCFivvA9m-tcEgRO_VBoCHoYQAvD_BwE. I think I know who I'd trust....

Just google "abortion pill by mail" and many states come up.
