Same. Very glad they are alive but it’s like out of a movie. I wonder how fast they were going at the time of impact. Like what’s crashing into one of those towers like? A net? It’s like a bad game of would you rather…crash on the ground or crash into power lines 100 feet up. Also very glad there are professionals to respond to this. |
You're quotting me and made me laugh. Glad I'm not the only one. Waiting for the 9:45 update? It's late. |
Classy dude. |
Wow. cool you found that. |
| So, live shot indicates nothing is happening. No crews "grounding" no bucket; no large crane. |
| People are really cruel. So what you have a night without power? The lives of two people are in jeopardy. Have some compassion. It will take the time it takes. |
| Bucket trucks activated. |
| Oh, that power is going to be out for a while. Hugely bad place to hit. |
| Just happened to catch the 10 pm press briefing. Lines are de-energized and they have bucket trucks used to build these towers starting to arrive. They will have to secure the plane to the tower (Provo contractors will do this) and then fire rescue will go up and get the pilot and passenger. |
| Hope someone sues the pants off that a-hole for disrupting lives of the entire county, once he's safely returned to his plush surroundings. |
Accidents happen. Stop being selfish. |
| MCPS wouldn’t close all the schools in the county due to a handful of schools without power, right? |
Also heard the number of people out of power up to 120,000 |
According to the recent message 44 out of 200 schools. So, not a handful. And facilities that deal with buses and food services. |
