He is not petty, those are the rules of the British Army. Harry RESIGNED from his military role, that means Harry is not entitled to wear the uniform, per army rules. Andrew on the other hand RETIRED from the army and is technically entitled to wear the uniform at all of the events.

He wore it because he had HONORARY titles (I.e. not earned but granted to him as a Senior Royal). Those titles were removed and given to Princess Anne when Harry resigned his duties as a Senior Royal. He can’t ever wear his uniform unless it’s at a Halloween party??

In the UK it does. I don’t make the rules, but they didn’t change them just to punish Harry. If you have an honorary title OR are active duty, you wear it, otherwise you don’t. Since forever.

Andrew served for decades and retired from the British Army. His titles are earned and he is entitled to wear the uniform. If Andrew wanted to be difficult he would wear the uniform at every event and no one could prevent him.

That’s written in their contract of employment. They know. They will be well taken care of, I would not worry about them.

Yes it was his farewell tour, wrapping up as Senior Royal. He has not worn it since and cannot wear it. They will not change the rules of the military to appease Harry.

He can put in on the second he gets home and wear it clubbing in LA if he chooses.
