?Our democracy is being taken from us? Uh, that what legislatures are. Which is what the Supreme Court just empowered. (In case you haven't thought it through, having 9 unelected people making laws instead of just declaring them constitutional or not, is actually undemocratic.) No one is taking your right to peacefully assemble, to petition your grievances, to vote and to live in a state that agrees with your values and right to kill your own child. (Which you already do if you are responding to this thread.) Pull out a civics textbook and get to know your actual rights. |
NP- you’re a numbskull. |

I live near the former DHS guy Chad Wolf. Extremely aggressive and obnoxious protestors protested there pretty much weekly. He and his wife had two small kids under 10 at the time.
It was despicable. |
Your rant is incorrect. The case next term regarding the state legislatures would indeed take away the vote for federal elections. |
POS who treats women like trash. GFY. |
Well then he should have felt right at home! Seriously, boo hoo. |
Pot calling kettle. |
Nope. I don’t treat women like trash. Can’t “both sides” this. |
Sure, keep up that pretending. |
NP-You really should have to not “both sides this in order to tell others. |
| I dont see why there is so much anger. This Supreme Court has been very clear that screaming from close proximity is a perfectly valid form of protest. Honestly the law that was struck down reads a lot like the laws protecting the justices from having to hear singing https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/13pdf/12-1168_6k47.pdf |

Legislatures do not have unlimited power to make any and all laws that they want. Roe v Wade was not having 9 unelected people make laws. It was giving women rights over their own bodies and saying that legislatures did not have the rights to make laws that infringed on the rights of women to make their own medical decisions. The constitution does not give legislatures the right to pass laws about abortion - the Bill of Rights says that all rights not enumerated in the Constitution are reserved for the state and the people. Six unelected judges, all but one of whom were appointed by a president who lost the popular vote, decided that the states have more rights than the people. That is what people are upset about. There are no babies and nobody is killing babies. It isn't a baby if it can't survive without the mother being alive and making sure it grows before giving birth to it. |
Pathetic deflection. Youngkin wants to take away women’s liberty. He’s a POS who wants to hurt - and kill - real-life, living, breathing women. There is no defending that. |
