If you live in the neighborhood of a Supreme Court jusice...

What is the actual situation on the ground? Are the protests peaceful, or not so much? How do you and your neighbors feel about the situation, the protesting? Do you agree more with the Supreme Court Marshal, who says that law enforcement must stop picketing in front of private residences, or with Marc Elrich, who says that protesting is their First Amendment Right?

Has anyone noticed any responses among neighbors? Like clever yard signs or a bunch of pro-choice/Planned Parenthood yard signs among his neighbors? I remember back when Mike Pence lived temporarily in Chevy Chase, the neighbors all put up rainbow flags. I find that a much more clever and less disruptive, lower key form of protesting, but what say you?

The Supreme Court ruled that protests are perfectly legal on public streets, no matter how obnoxious. See: abortion clinics across the country and Westboro Baptist crazies at funerals.

The protesters are obeying the law, constantly moving. There isn't anything Montgomery County can do about it.

And there have been protests like this in front of liberal politicians' houses. They didn't stop those either.

I say this as someone who thinks only losers take their protests to a person's house. And I'm as pro-choice as they come. Like, women can have as many abortions, for any reason, as they can medically handle. I don't care. But taking protests to people's homes, where innocent spouses, parents, and kids live, is over the top.

I live near the Supreme Court and there are constant protests. It’s fine.

Ginni Thomas is not innocent.

It sucks for the kids, but we choose our spouses. I don’t like the protesting at politicians/justices homes because of the impact to neighbors. That is what isn’t right.

Protests are loud, which is very tough on neighbors -- even pro-choice neighbors. Protests are also ineffective.

Neighbors just keep their young kids inside to avoid the protesters.

They’re not obeying the law since protesting outside a judge’s home is not legal. It’s a different case for politicians.

It’s not illegal for f it’s intended to intimidate or affect an outcome but I think it’s clear no one thinks it’s going to change their minds-it’s peaceful comeuppance which they richly deserve. If they didn’t want to be public figures they shouldn’t have become sc justices ffs.

I live near there. It doesn't bother anyone. No one is blocking anything.

Poor SCOTUS really? NO

Ginni Thomas should already be in shackles.

Kavanaugh brought his kid to the hearings and used her as a prop. He did this to himself & the family that is on him. Zero empathy.
