The shooter/killer was pretty much an abandoned child by his loser parents. Serious issues that the police did not flag nor did others in his community. No doubt this is due in part to lack of resources. Police department hurting for folks as are our education systems. He snapped. It is a no brainer that guns should not be legal for purchase at 18. No brainer that automatic rifles should not be available OTC like cough syrup.

The harder work - that nobody talks about - is why so many kids have nothing and nobody.

+1 It's amazing how many Republicans have no brains.

Don’t both sides this, PP. these deaths are 100% on the GOP and their voters.

WTF?
These deaths are 100% on the damn killer.

“TF” yourself, no. This was preventable, but the GOP decided years ago that they enjoy the mayhem, the chaos, the fear, the terror and the gun manufacturers loooooooove this sht because their sales spike so high after every mass shooting.

This is 100% on the GOP. And on you for not recognizing that.

More guns, bigger guns and definitely as many domestic abusers and rapists as possible. That’s the secret sauce for the real good guy with a gun, the domestic abuse.

Oh, the hyperbole. He calmly walked up to the front of the audience. I wouldn't call it "storming."

No, he was the only one telling the truth about Abbott. Abbott's comments were bland platitudes. "The parents need our love." He did not even allude to gun control and was making excuses. Good for O'Rourke.

Your post screams “fck those dead children; no one cares about them.” You must be a Republican.

+1

The only ones profiting on the deaths of children are the NRA and the republicans who enable them. Including Abbott.

This kid was screaming for help. Where were the adults?

He walked out and was calm. Police did not pull him out. Actually, the Lt. Governor sounded like a moron as he kept shouting, " Sir. You are out of order. Excuse me, but you are out of order." What a bunch of old white male twits!

Beto was definitely the calmer one in this situation.

More laws will NOT solve this issue. It just won't.
Abbott was giving updates and showing compassion for those who have suffered through this.

Beto was interrupting and being an ass. He planned this confrontation - even having people acting as "seat holders."
We know he pulls these stunts to get attention. We saw it with his last run against Cruz and his failed run for president. He'll be a three time loser.

Abbots “compassion” is meaningless.
Republicans care about power and money.
Doesn’t matter how many kids have to die to get it.

Why not? The law was recently changed to allow the shooter to legally purchase those guns. Previously, it was illegal. Maybe that wouldn't have stopped him. Or maybe it would have.

Let's try it and find out. Okay?
