SNL needed to end 20 years ago. |
Modern music hasn’t changed in 20 years. A pop song from 2001 sounds the same as a pop song in 2021. |
I harshly judge those who watch The Bachelor and Bachelorette, realilty show that have to do with music, the Kardashians and Real Housewives shows. |
I tried watching Schitts Creek twice, it’s not funny.
I think Wu-tang clan is the best hip hop group ever. |
+1 on Schitts Creek. I was falling asleep on it. Never got the appeal. |
I like Gwyneth. Sue me! p.s. Her cookbook is pretty damn decent. Not groundbreaking, but nice, solid recipes and ideas. |
It takes a few episodes. Stick it out! The Big Bang theory is terrible. How I met your mother is too. I can’t believe those shows lasted so long. I think Alicia Keys is way better than Beyoncé. Star Wars is dumb. Dune was bad and Oscar Isaac is average looking. |
Brittany needs mental help as does Kanye, not more kids |
I enjoyed the books but I agree with this. I also don't get why anyone would send their kids to Hogwarts. The teachers are abusive. The kids are bullied (to the point of significant injury and almost death) and no one does anything about it. |
I think it's possible to dislike LMM and not be racist -- I love him and Hamilton, but I am getting a little weary of his same style and cadence in everything he does -- but complaints about "wokeness" and comparisons of TS and Beyonce are pretty telling. Taylor and Beyonce don't even make the same king of music, so why are you comparing them unless you're salty because you think that Beyonce is somehow viewed as better than Taylor??? Hmmm.... |
I just saw Hamilton for the first time (the 2016 cast). It was OK, but the music was underwhelming. I remember some of the people and thought they had presence (particularly the actors who played Jefferson, Eliza and Burr), but I don't remember any of the songs, except for the King George one. |
I like Schitt's Creek but I just can't get into The Good Place. Despite watching several episodes, I just don't get it. |
Most of what we are told about celebrities' lives is the product of PR professionals. The Bennifer renaissance is not real, it's just a publicity move to get two desperate celebrities (who are probably close friends) good press. The same is true of a lot of what we see in magazines/blogs.
This is nothing new. Rock Hudson's public life was a mirage too. It's just sad because we were so close to peeling back the facade in the early 00s when blogs (like Perez Hilton) were new. Now every major gossiper has been bought out (or put on payroll), much of the industry is locked down again, and everyone is so gullible. Perez Hilton was awful in some ways, but I wish that grown ass adults didn't buy obvious BS like Bennifer. |
Amen! Only watched it a few times and hated it. It was a rip off of Living Single. |
Sleep with? Really? You are assuming actual, non-coerced consent? Based on what we know about Weinstein, why would you do that? |
