I told him a leader of the country his parents were born in went crazy and started a war that will potentially have catastrophic consequences for both counties if not the world. He is very level headed so that didn’t give him anxiety (unlike me!)
Sorry for the many innocent in your country who will also suffer great losses along with the innocents in Ukraine. It is heart breaking all around.
