Even 50 cent is subject to inflation.

If they singing was pre recorded, why wasn't it better?
My kids felt awkward watching people with so little clothing dancing. They asked to go to bed!

pretty much!! every time a song I recognized came on I was like hoooo yeaaah. sang along to all the Dr. Dre and Snoop songs. Didn't recognize Mary J Blige's songs. 50 Cent one was good (I guess he was the surprise appearance) - really took me back.

Is this a real question?

50 is from NY

It doesn’t matter. He and Em were signed by Dre. Everyone knows about East West history.

I don't believe that's common knowledge. Dcum isn't the place for rap scholars, ya know?

NP it may not be common knowledge on this site but I think it’s pretty common knowledge among anyone who was a teenager/early twenties in the late 90s.

So little clothing?

The problem with Fiddy's song choice and his choice to recreate the opening of his video for the song, is that automatically a comparison is made. He was ripped in the video. He looked so out of shape tonight. Maybe he should've just stood behind some dancers.

Lol.

I’m 47.

These songs are part of the soundtrack from my prime.

But they don’t lend themselves to a super bowl show. Too bad Mary J didn’t sing one of her hits.

She did. It was one of her biggest hits.

Eminem took a knee during the show.

I saw that and didn't realize what or why he did it. I kept expecting him to jump up and start rapping again.

I thought he was out of breath or having a heart attack LOL
