I felt the same way about him at first but I ended up taking a lot of his classes because I love pop punk music, ESPECIALLY for exercising, and he is the only one who does pop punk rides (Kendall has a few that I also love) and he has grown on me. At first I also felt like he was a try hard but you ride with him enough it somehow migrates from try hard to earnest <shrug> |

I recently started taking his rides because people on this thread suggested him to me as an alternate to Cody. While I don’t love him as much as Cody and he doesn’t have that natural charismatic personality that Cody does, I do enjoy his playlists and I can keep up (which I can’t do with some of the other instructors)… so I think he’s a decent option. Thanks to all for the suggestion! |
For m, Robin and Tunde are the hardest. I love taking classes with Kendall, Cody, and Alex. I love British accents so I enjoy taking some classes for fun with Leanne, Bradley, Ben and Hannah F. |
I love Ben Alldis for a good, steady ride with good music. His 60 minute climb rides are my go-tos. I am a recent convert to Tunde. I love her rides. Ally annoys the absolute shit out of me and she seems dense. I always find Olivia tough and Kendall has a few good rides I enjoy. I rediscovered Cody this morning with a 60 minute groove ride which was super fun. I also like Emma Lovewell. Robyn is absolutely full of herself and annoying. Every ride she mentions how she was a lawyer. Yeah we get it. You failed to make it as a lawyer. I also agree that Kendall seems out of the popular girls gang. But so does Olivia. I literally googled is Kendall friends with the Peloton instructors because I was intrigued. I have a soft spot for Kendall. I am not sure why. |
I love Kendall! She was my top 2021 instructor. I like her style and music choices. I’m into that 90s/00s pop, punk, metal, ska music. I agree that she isn’t part of the inner circle but she seems to have her own group within Peloton - she has some group photos with instructors other than Robin and Ally. I can’t stand Ally but I like Robin. I agree that it looks like she and her BF broke up, but she’s chosen to keep it private and I respect that. |
My thought excactly! I feel like Ben and Leanne are the real thing, and now Andy and Rebecca are trying to be the Us version. They seem so awkward together on the Instagram posts. I love Hannah F! Seems like a real athlete and a coach. I get so turned off by all the touchy, feely stuff. I like some quotes I hear but not constantly stating how beautiful, empowered I am😀 |
Agree! It’s a shame because I am sure the company encourages them to posts and have followers but I think her ( and a few others) have forgotten why they are there. They have started to believe they are the story. Robin is now just so over the top. I like Matt and Hannah F as focus on the athletics. I like Ben and Leanne for the music. I like Cody when I need to laugh. I like Emma as …I just do! |
Oh Kendall - I love her!! Have you ever heard her story? She struggled through the teen years, home schooled, suffers from horrible anxiety - definitely not one of the popular girls. She’s super close with her dad who I think really helped her thru her dark times |
Did you know she’s from Southern California? ![]() ![]() |
What does that have to do with anything? |
I think it’s a reference to the fact she always talks about being from California. Which she does. But I just don’t find her full of herself like Robin and Ally. I find them both obnoxious and have started to believe their own hype. I find Robin nauseating. You would think she is the first pregnant woman to have ever exercised. |
It doesn’t help that Andy and Rebecca are so so awkward individually. I almost never do their classes unless it’s on HCOTF or the playlist or a special class. Are they even a real couple? |
Rebecca is so incredibly awkward! I think she does a good job putting together workouts—her outdoors ones are especially great—but I cringe while listening to her frequently.
Speaking of hardcore athletes, I think Becs is incredible. I did one of her body weight classes and it about killed me. I love her classical music runs and walks. |
I love Becs. She's in my top 3 with Ben and Wilpers. Has a good balance of personal commentary (though she does tend to talk a lot about her boyfriend) and coaching, and a great music selection, especially the classical rides. Very solid, intelligent coach. |
