Honestly, as opposed to the local Ds that don't care about anyone or anything, except looking good on social media? Its really either, re-elect current CE, current council member, or Blair. And Blair isn't the only one who hasn't screwed up yet. |
In MoCo, I hope it means we get Blair over another Elrich term (or Reimer- shudder). |
You want a red wave hahaha
So glad you believe in fairy tales hey Virginia just did it voted in the guy who is banning air. Sure MD should follow Virginias lead and vote in liars and criminals. Youngkin had zero polices and will never leave office Voting Red amazing more ways to let Democracy die. Woo hoo more idiots who want the destruction of our schools red states do so well With education that’s why their public school all show up in the bottom tier and blue stats always mail out red ones Oh and even better your taxes will rise if you vote red and it will land in their pockets not in schools But sure vote red they have really shown you how smart about education they are even Youngkins kid knows not to vote illegally right? Omg you people are so stupid |
If this is the product of a public school education, I need to vote for charters or vouchers. |
A moderate Dem that wants Blair in office, hates Reimer and loves Van Hollen. Being a genuine politician is an oxymoron but that is what I strive to elect. I cannot stand the Reimers and Jawandos of this world. So fake. |
PP. I’m also fed up with the teachers union. They suck and they will bring down this state. |
Basically if Republicans want moderates then they should switch parties to democrats. |
Yes, of course! I know several who have. I have no clue if it's representative of something larger than that, but there are Republicans who are finally doing that. |
fascinating, PP, thanks for the heads up on that poll. |
I'd be surprised if Cox broke 30% and he'd lose Frederick, AA, Howard, and Baltimore - probably by double digits - in the process. He might have trouble breaking double digits in Prince George's and topping 15% in Montgomery.
Schulz is playing a bit of footsie with the Trump crowd a la Youngkin, but in a primary, the base wants what the base wants. Steele has the best chance to take on Hogan's mantle. He should win if Schulz drops out. Has Ficker ever come out as a Trumper? His website looks straight outta 1999. |
Do you think Schulz would drop out? Why, when she has Hogan’s endorsement? |
If we are truly talking about local county politics, I can’t even really remember the last time a credible R was in contention for anything. Surprised you’d have faith in someone like Ficker. Statewide is a bit different and I expect the next governor race could be competitive. |
It amazes me to read this post-Obama Presidency. |
Can the MD GOP cancel the primary and have the party elites pick the nominee?
It still blows my mind that the VA GOP did this. But it seemed to have worked. |
