You greatly misestimate the situation. |
If Palestine has so much sympathy then why does even Jordan not want to help them with a peace deal? And why are so many others silent? |
I initially thought that chant was catchy enough, but I can't listen to it now that I understand it. While I am not against peaceful demonstrations to apply pressure on different issues, I would never join a Palestinian rally now I've noticed the protestors seem to chant it non-stop. Ugly. |
Jewish genocide! What a catchy tune! ![]() |
To me, it's simple. If you side with Hamas, you help build the world Hamas wants. If you side with Israel, you help build the world Israel wants. Which vision of the world do you want to live in... really? |
Well life is not simple. I want neither of those worlds. |
Well I think Israel would also prefer not to be a militarized security state, but that's been a necessity imposed on them by others. |
And I'm sure Gazans would like to be able to grow enough food and have enough water to live on their own. |
Because they don’t want to be killed by Mossad or America . |
Neither Hamas nor the Israeli government want Jews and Arabs to live together in peace. They are in power because they stoke hatred. Ironically, they both need each other to survive politically.
Neither side wants a two state solution. Both have made significant efforts to undermine it. I really don't see this ending ever. They don't want it to. |
+1000 This, in a nutshell, sums it all up. |
I hate to break it to you but the torture rape and massacre of innocents and the videos of it makes Hamas no better than isis or animals. And asides from vocal religious militants and crazy left wing liberals most people see this for what it is. |
I wish I were misestimating but everyone can see Netanyahu has sunk Israel down in world standing and in internal security. The asshat was supporting Hamas for all these years never thinking that would come back to hurt Israelis. I am so sorry that Hamas was able to do what they did on October 7, but this was not a surprise to me at all given the increasing settler violence. We, as Americans, warned Netanyahu countless times that settlers will ignite Hamas to act and he disregarded the warnings. |
That PP has been speaking as though she speaks for the entire world in this entire thread, and is quite obviously certifiable. I find it fascinating in a way. |
If Hamas lays down its weapons, what happens to Gazans for the next ten, twenty, thirty years? Is that really peace or the absence of war? |
