I was a posted who asked hundreds of questions about lifting heavy- should I do it, how long to see results. Well, one year later, maybe 5-10 pounds lighter max (maybe not even, i don't have a scale), but a totally different body. It is now proportionate, strong, and I look good in t-shirts and jeans.
So thank you for all of those who told me to do it and to give it time. I'll be honest, it took a real 6 months to see a big difference but now the difference is SO BIG. My body feels great. |
| nice! what program did you follow? |
| Nice work! I too love strength training and have seen a huge difference in my body composition since i started. |
| Way to go, OP! I think too many women focus on cardio and weight loss as a means to a better body, and neglect true strength training and now it can redefine your body. There’s so much emphasis on thinner, instead of leaner, tighter, stronger. |
| I’d like to know too. What program? |
Awesome, thanks for sharing this! I started doing something similar back around March when gyms started closing and I'm really happy with the changes and results I'm seeing so far. I'm feeling so much stronger already.

| Thank you for coming back and posting an update, and kudos! Glad your hard work is paying off. |
| All my strength was online. Fitness blender, peloton app and beach body. |
Totally agree and I was one if those people. All I can say is I will never have my 20 year old body back (in my 40s) but strength had gotten me looking as good as then. Different but just as good in terms of lean, proportionate. I can wear leggings and a cropped t shirt now. I don’t, but I can. |
