Seems a constitutional amendment might be in order - president must be a natural-born citizen of the United States, be at least 35 years old, and have been a resident of the United States for 14 years AND must not commit felonies.

The problem ladies and gentlemen is that he still has a very good chance of getting re-elected. A couple of states turn a certain way and we have three elections on 20 years where the popular vote candidate did not win.

The idea is that they write all personal costs of living as business expenses if they are self-employed.

I dated someone and slowly realized he was cheating on his taxes. Because of that and other issues, I said bye.

Here are some examples of how you can cheat.

One time he bought a piece of clothing for me as a gift and then said he was keeping the receipt so that he could write it off as a business expense.

He was subletting an apt and deducted the rent as a salary expense - the person subletting did not live in the USA but claimed it as personal US income so that they could become eligible for benefits like a pension plan in the US. Win win for all (except the American taxpayers).

His other scam was to have an ex-wife wire him money every month. Then he would send her a cheque for that amount (minus the costs of receiving wired funds), and then deduct this amount as salary expenses. Another win-win for these two.

He wrote off all meals and travel, clothing, phone, internet -- all personal expenses were considered business.

After deducting all of these expenses, he owed a few hundred dollars in taxes. One year, he actually had a "loss" in his business and didn't owe anything.

Still, this low-life was paying more taxes than Donald.

Yup - all of these examples are not considered kosher. Take it to Trump's level - he writes off his jet (and all expenses associated with it including fuel, pilot etc.), he writes off dinners out, golfing, all clothes/suits/designer wear including Melania's clothes, travel, limos, etc. I could go on and on...it's fraud, plain and simple. He learned it from his father.

Geez - he didn't even bother to pay self-employment tax. Any decent human being in business for themselves pays this tax.

I really hope one day when he's out of the Oval and he or one of his kids needs emergency care or his house is in fire - they refuse to respond.

Taxes pay for these things. Trump (our President) is a grifter. And, all of us are paying for it.

I'm just a bookkeeper and even I know you can't pretend all your personal expenses are "business" expenses. WTH?

I'm a small business owner. Own multiple small businesses and several real estate investments. high 6 to 7 figure/annum income depending on the year. DESPISE TRUMP and am disgusted he is president. But there is nothing here. I haven't paid much tax for decades but I do pay our CPA a nice chunk of change to legally and cleanly make most of my taxes disappear. I believe most entrepreneurs, business owners and real estate investors end up paying minimal income tax. I know lot of folks earning millions a year paying less in tax than our school bus driver. Why blame trump for doing the same?

I'm just so worried that all this desperation by Dems and mainstream media to bring him down is going to blow up in our faces.
