has no record to run from Oregon - a truly inconsequential state

Did Trump have a record when he ran?

Duggan from Detroit has potential but he’ll attempt to become MI governor first. He’s the kind of person I believe can heal this country.

Never gonna happen. Big tech and media make too much money from division.

See also Bill Clinton. See also Obama who had been US Senator for a mere two years.

The voters barely matter. It's who the powerful people want to prop up.

AOC, as one of the Federal level politicians who has maintained the courage and integrity to speak out against the corruption in our political system, should be as popular among the 98% of regular American people as any politician. The influence of money in politics is enemy number one of the American people. Unfortunately for the AOC types, their political careers have a lower ceiling as long as they continue to call out the corruption in our political system.

A politician who refuses to play nice with political mega-donors in this day and age has little to no chance of advancing their careers to high level Federal Government positions. The RNC and DNC along with anyone else in GOP and Dem leadership positions will do everything in their power to prevent someone like AOC from gaining more power and influence in our political landscape. Needless to say, who does and doesn't have a chance of leading our country being determined by the financial backers of our two political parties isn't how our for the people and by the people government is intended to work.

Ain’t that the truth. Sad.

Is Bannon trolling in his interview with The Economist with Trump running and winning in 2028?

It's still early, but right now it's looking to me like Newsome is the odds-on favorite to get nominated.

This has very little to do with actual policies or where he falls on the ideological spectrum, and everything to do with the fact he seems to have cracked the code for opposing Trump.

I agree with both parts: today it’s Newsom and it’s too early to tell.

"speak out against the corruption"

The irony. AOC is the very definition of corruption.

Do tell...

Forget about the president raking in billions from a crypto scam and then pardoning the head of the crypto exchange, demanding a quarter billion from US taxpayers while being the sole authority on approving it, giving pay-to-play exemptions on tariffs, firing inspectors general all across the government, stopping the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act, accepting a 747 from a foreign government for his personal post-presidential use, or quashing an investigation into his border czar's $50,000 cash bribe from an undercover FBI operation.

AOC allegedly misspent almost $5,000 according to the New York Post! And received a free invite to the Met Gala! The very definition of corruption!

+1 politics as entertainment is how it is going to be for a while. This is going to sound harsh, but most Americans are easily influenced and maybe not the deepest of thinkers. Expect several administrations to be shiny spokespeople presidents with competent cabinets doing the real work.

He is not trolling. Bannon said the court will agree with redefining the terms in the 12 and 22. They have the votes in SCOTUS and have already held private meetings for planning.

Why would Trump run in 2028? He's president for life. YOU told us so.
