the only way MnDDC 30 and 31's get better is if they poach players from other clubs. their recruiter better start reaching out to players soon cause tryout season is right around the corner

Nobody said they were supposed to be the new dominant club in the area until you just said it.
I suspect M&D will want the best teams they can post, when they can. They took over just a year ago. Even Rome wasn't built in a year, can't imagine how long a girls lacrosse club in DC would take. Obviously getting impovement to happen, however it does, at younger ages will be what matters if it's to become more relevant longer term.

This is a tellingly defensive response that avoids the question. Capital has always been a high school team. The argument of the M&D DC boosters on this page is that they can start earlier and develop strong teams that don't need to try out for Capital, highlighting their 2029 team, which includes 9 players from another club poached before the 8th grade season. If the argument for M&D DC has any weight, they should have strong teams being pulled together at 2030 and 2031 playing in NGLL. But they don't...

Oof, it had nothing to do with Next Levels success. This is a true situation of IYKYK. People haven’t wanted to air out the dirty laundry of what happened, and it was certainly dirty how it went down. But please don’t pretend those players were drawn to Next Levels success when the teams were almost identically ranked.
