Did he really think he was gay? |
I don't know about "smug arrogant status obsessed" because I don't know them, but they do fit MAGA definitions of "coastal elites." Both are Ivy grads and Vance's first job out of law school was as a venture capitalist in San Francisco. His wife grew up in San Diego. But, as we have learned, "coastal elites" can only be Dems, never Republicans even if the Republicans have identical bios. |
Yes, word for word in his book, complete with an alleged conversation with grandma about gays and his own internal dialogue about how accepting Christianity is of gays. |
Translation: intel asset. |
If I were doing opposition research on Vance, I would pursue this line of inquiry. |
Spoken like someone who’s never been to Iraq |
Any Trump VP would have done that though. |
What exactly is his relationship with Peter Thiel ? Isn’t he a Thiel a promiscuous and adulterous homosexual? |
Have you ever talked to an Ivy League Brahmin? The most ruthlessly status and class obsessed people on the planet who think anyone below them is a peasant class servant. Low and middle class Americans disgust them. That is what he married. And it's not like anyone can claim she's actually normal and loves regular middle class Americans when they literally refused to actually live in Ohio. The Vances are grifters who want to be at elite cocktail parties full of Ivy Leaguers cracking jokes about what gullible idiots flyover state proles are. |
This stance alone should make voters wary of Vance. |
It's been a while since I read it. Did he write about any high school and Ohio State University girlfriends in the memoir? Any flings in the barracks? |
He was a writer for one of the military newpapers |
What makes them grifters? Is it because they went to Yale in their own merits and not because they were from three time legacy mega donor families? Oh the horror. Do they somehow not deserve the success they worked for and earned? Let’s see if I can get this right: If you come from a poor- middle class family and get into Ivy based on your own work And merit and get a prestigious job- you are a grifter. But if you come from money and legacy and go to Ivy and get a prestigious job, it’s because those are your people and thats where you belong? |
I never read Vance’s book nor did I see the movie but I heard him interviewed once when he was promoting them.
Didn’t he write his own book without a ghostwriter or coauthor? I still don’t really care to read it because that genre is not my thing, but you have to respect that. |
