Any word on AP exams?

Has anyone heard how they are going? DS is taking Physics this week and worried about best way to submit his response. He is leaning towards handwriting and then submitting photos by phone. Any recommendations?

Sounds like some had trouble submitting, per https://www.reddit.com/r/ApplyingToCollege/. There are some recommendations on reddit, but not sure if they're accurate, e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/ApplyingToCollege/comments/ghsomi/ap_exam_tips/

Are there schematics he prefers to do by hand?

DS is taking his AP Gov exam today at 4pm on our computer, and he will type his essay.

On hold with AP now because not all photos got submitted.

My kid got a 5 on physics this morning.

Re the Reddit thread - the advice about checking photo format, if you are choosing to handwrite and submit it MUST be a .jpeg and hi-res.

Really wish College Board had had the sense to cancel these altogether. It is a hot mess.

DD's submission also didn't get through in the morning's Physics exam.

It sounds like most problems were with uploading from phone. Did anyone have problems who used a laptop or desktop?

My daughter cancelled her 3 exam registrations. Gc is arranging refunds. She isn’t going to a school that cares whether she takes them Sr. Year.

My son took pictures on his phone, emailed it to himself, opened it on his laptop, and uploaded it. He didn't have a problem.

Thanks for this. DS has an exam tomorrow and told me he was planning to take a photo and submit by phone. Will let him know what folks here are reporting

What size file should you send?
The College Board is suggesting “medium “ but I know from past experience that full size is easier to read

All done now. DC also took this. No hiccups as far as I know.
