DH doesn't wash his hands after restroom.

| I am at my wit's end. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. Even now, in the middle of a pandemic. Sometimes he goes right to get a drink or food, touching all of the things in the kitchen--refrigerator handle, doorknob etc. I have asked to no avail. Any suggestions? |

Like your DH, I don't pee on my hands either so I don't always wash my hands. The consequence of this is that more men are dying from COVID 19 because we don't wash our hands. It's part of being a man I guess. Don't get mad. Just accept it. |

In public restrooms or at home?
I don't know anyone who washes their hands after peeing at home. Even if he did, that's not going to help in a pandemic, Covid19 isn't living on his junk. As long as he's washing his hands when he gets home, he's fine. |

Guy here. Realistically, most guys don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom unless others are there noticing such as a public bathroom, even then it’s probably 50%. I agree with the one post, we don’t pee on ourselves when taking a piss so it’s not like we’re contaminated or anything. As for going #2, I’d say it’s more typical then not to wash your hands afterwards.
I’ve worked in an all male work setting for 30 years and I assure you my commitment is true. One question for the OP, if you get up in the middle of the night to pee do you go to the sink and wash your hands at 4AM? My point exactly. |
