DH doesn't wash his hands after restroom.

That's what the foot is for.

Anyhow, peeing is arguable since there is no wiping or possibly even touching. Even if there's touching, the penis shaft is the same as skin anywhere else, no?

As for pooping, maybe there's a bidet?

That said, cmon fellas, wash those hands.

Male. I always wash my hands

Female here. I never wash my hands after peeing in my own home, unless they feel dirty or I'm about to go out or something. I don't think my husband does either, although I've never paid careful attention. I thought this was normal? I always wash after #2, tampon changes, if we have company, or outside the home.

I will say that if this bothered my husband, I'd change. It just doesn't seem like a big deal! I also think this was how I was raised, my parents and brother don't either.

DH is nasty.

What are the actual consequences of this, OP? Besides you being grossed out? Pee is actually sterile--has no germs on it.

Like your DH, I don't pee on my hands either so I don't always wash my hands.

The consequence of this is that more men are dying from COVID 19 because we don't wash our hands.

It's part of being a man I guess.

Don't get mad. Just accept it.

You've been posting this for years. Most people think you are disgusting. Just accept it.

I don't know anyone who washes their hands after peeing at home. Even if he did, that's not going to help in a pandemic, Covid19 isn't living on his junk.

As long as he's washing his hands when he gets home, he's fine.

I hope you're not a parent. Of course we wash our hands after going to the bathroom at home.

I agree with the one post, we don’t pee on ourselves when taking a piss so it’s not like we’re contaminated or anything. As for going #2, I’d say it’s more typical then not to wash your hands afterwards.

I’ve worked in an all male work setting for 30 years and I assure you my commitment is true. One question for the OP, if you get up in the middle of the night to pee do you go to the sink and wash your hands at 4AM? My point exactly.

Yes. We're not lazy.

No, that is not normal. Do you have kids? They teach kids in preschool to wash after using the restroom, before eating, etc.

For reference, wash your hands:

Before, during, and after preparing food
Before eating food
Before and after caring for someone at home who is sick with vomiting or diarrhea
Before and after treating a cut or wound
After using the toilet
After changing diapers or cleaning up a child who has used the toilet
After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
After touching an animal, animal feed, or animal waste
After handling pet food or pet treats
After touching garbage

Disgusting. Sorry not sorry.

Does no one realize that we wash our hands after the restroom not because the bathroom is that much dirtier but because we need to wash our hands and that’s the most convenient time to do it? Doesn’t matter what you touch and what you don’t

And you think it's cool to touch your junk and not wash your hands after?

I don't pee on my hands when I take a leak so if they need a washing after touching my penis, maybe I should pull it out and wash it in the sink, too.

Are you touching your penis to common objects or asking acquaintances to shake it? Then yes, you should wash it in the sink, too. If it's just your hands you're using to do those things, then just wash your hands.

I would completely make a mental note of that if I knew you. I always make a note of kids who come over and don't wash their hands after using the bathroom, too. So gross.

America is really going downhill. The level of ignorance and/or laziness is shocking. We send NGOs to other countries to teach people living in poverty to wash their hands after going to the bathroom.

This thread is just sad.
