Am I a loser because I watch Jersey Shore?

I'm a 45 year old woman. And I have a Ph.D. And I am watching Jersey Shore.

I am a loser, right?
Anonymous
Depends on what you got your PhD in. Kidding.

I'm a 36 yo attorney and watch it, too. I find it fascinating: that people act that way and allow it to be taped. I keep telling myself that the producers have to help these people look more like trainwrecks through editing. Because they seem like such caricatures.

Oh well. (Short-lived) guilty pleasure.

You cared enough to read and respond.

I cared to tell OP that he/she can do whatever she wants and who cares if someone here thinks he/she is a loser. That was my point.

36 yo attorney. I watched a single episode and was drawn to it (in a train wreck kind of way). I had to stop myself from watching any more episodes because I thought it would be like eating too much candy - it would feel so good at the time but make me feel worse afterwards.

I just wrapped up another compelling episode of The Girls Next Door, a repeat with the original cast that I've seen about 4 times already.
