Perhaps you just have classier taste, PP. I have three degrees, work, am looking into a PhD program, and I watch Jersey Shore. My tastes are "lowbrow," I suppose.

I have six advanced degrees, am a former partner in BIG LAW, am studying right now for another PhD. at a very prestigious university, graduated top of my class (undergrad) at an Ivy, went to a Big Three DC elementary school, voted for Howard Dean, eat only raw vegan food, drive a Subaru with lots and lots of political bumper stickers, and yes, I watch Jersey Shore.

Does the watching Jersey Shore part make me a loser???
