Literally all that tweet proves (if it's even accurate) is that Ukraine, despite being illegally invaded and having its civilians be killed and raped by the Russians, still has the decency to repatriate Rissian dead, while the invaders, murderers, and rapists can't even muster the humanity to return the favor in equal numbers. |
Russia has multiples more population than Ukraine. At some point Ukraine will be down to zero while Russia loses a third of its manpower. |
Uh, its actually the exact opposite of what you wrote. Russia is returning bodies, and Ukraine is not. Either Ukraine has no bodies to return, or they are keeping the bodies. You tell me which is more likely. |
DP - Given the endless lies and misrepresentations from the Kremlin, the ongoing illegal invasion, targeting of civilians and other war crimes - your argument has little to no credibility. This war was started and continued in barbaric ways. |
Argh! I am powerless in the face of your talking points. The PP you’re defending still can’t process the English language though. Probably some Ukrainian who ran from his trench. |
|
Russia is now involved in its own Korea while the Chinese laughs and plans their revenge. China is going to take back its territory and free all the Russian eastern provinces to create a buffer zone against Russia.
Russia is a broken bloated feeble country. Much like maga. |
PP to whom you replied - maybe so. Like many, I have developed so much respect for Ukrainians in general. Their resilience and courage in fighting for their sovereign democracy has been remarkable. I am sure that there has been some high level corruption since they are a fledgling democracy and had many billions in military aid was given to them. Not saying they were or are perfect, but they were the victims and have made many sacrifices to defend themselves from this illegal invasion. Also, they have proven extremely tech savvy in countering the Kremlin’s propaganda war. |
How do you account for the close relationship between dear leaders in both countries? Russia even agreed to not invade Ukraine (the last time) in early 2022 until after China hosted the Winter Olympics. |
Your statement makes no sense. Russia is the invader. The Russian die by the 100’s of thousands in the no man land between lines. This is because the Russians are attacking the Ukrainians. The Ukrainians are not going to leave their lines to retrieve Russian dead. The Russians giving ten Ukrainians the bodies of POWs and Ukrainian civilians in the Russian occupation zones. |
I see this term ("illegal invasion") thrown around quite often in discussions of the Ukraine-Russia war. Is there such a thing as a "legal invasion" -- if so, what makes an invasion "legal"? And what invasion this century -- anywhere in the world -- was "legal"? |
It’s legal when we do it, and illegal when they do it. They call it the rules based order. |
| How’s the inevitable victory coming along? |
This isn't a little game. The nature of war has changed. Because of drones, the kill zone extends about 15 kilometers in both directions from the front line. No one is picking up the dead within those 30 kilometers. Even the wounded rarely make it out of that zone. Ukraine has roughly 80,000 who are MIA on those fields and can't be collected. Russia will have double that because they are on the offensive and are taking much heavier losses. Officially, there are about 50,000 Russian families wondering what happened to their sons and husbands. Unofficially, the number is much higher. At the beginning of the war, there was a video of an old Ukrainian woman putting sunflower seeds in a Russian invader's pocket. To fertilize the soil when he's dead was what she said. And that's exactly what's happening. |
This assumes Ukrainian dead are equal in numbers. |
This doesn't explain thousands of Ukrainian men of fighting age making themselves comfortable in Europe. |
