| Know what I mean? Just seems like not that big deal right now. He’s 17 |
| You do you. |
| From the smell when I was walking around my neighborhood earlier, I think a lot of parents are in that boat. |
| No I don’t know what you mean. I’d be upset as hell. |
| I care. Especially now I see the frequency. Makes me super sad. |
| How often does he use? More than a few times per week? |
| Op, marinate on this: Virtually all of the so-called “healthy looking” young people who are dying of Covid have some level of lung damage from vaping or smoking cigarettes or pot. |
| You should care. I know someone who smoked a bit of weed around that time (started as a way to relax after a tragedy) and after a couple of years was a paranoid schizophrenic. No family history of any psychiatric disorders at all. A really promising life completely down the drain. Heartbreaking. |
|
Is he breaking quarantine to get it? Putting your family at risk by meeting people?
I'd be pissed in general, but even more so because of that. I've actually wondered if this lockdown will break some drug habits. |
| What if he went to jail? |
|
Weed is the only way I am saying sane during all this, as a parent of two.
|
You have no idea what he was doing he could have easily hit his head or eaten bad meat w a parasite. |
That's a HUGE what if. |
He had very good medical care and was tested for everything. He's been this way for decades now. |
| If you're going to turn a blind eye, for the love of god at least teach him how to hide the smell. Sincerely, a DC resident with neighbors who smoke the nastiest stuff ever. They don't even attempt fabric softener over a paper towel roll. |
