Reasons my child is crying: quarantine edition

My DD is screaming because she wants to take a bath, but doesn’t want to get her feet wet....

We got outside and she was convinced she put on different shoes, and started screaming that someone magically changed her shoes.

Dad cut the crust off her Pbj since she doesn’t like crust, but he did it before she asked so now she wants it back on, so she can ask cut it off!

Her bubbles popped after she clapped them and now she is sad they disappeared and is crying too hard to blow more bubbles or let go of bottle so I can do it.

Similar here. Younger DD cried because older DS stepped on one of her bubbles accidentally.

My DD is 13 and completely jaded about everything at this point, so I’m actually reading these with a kind of nostalgic chuckle! It definitely helps to have a sense of humor about everything at that stage.

Hang in there—there really is light at the end of the (tear-filled) tunnel!
