They are in need of stability and reassurance. These posts make me sad and don’t come off as funny.

Oh please.

Thanks for starting the thread, OP. I needed the chuckle.

The bat one is so funny to me. Don’t eat the bat !!
I researched it and apparently bat soup is delicious and taste like home to many people. England also had to ban it. But people still do it. Smuggle it in. The meat.
Just ... don’t eat the bat !

That is so interesting! (For real, not sarcasm.) Now I'm kind of tempted to try bat soup... (KIDDING.)

Mine is crying because we had to take the iPad. Sigh, I love hate love hate that damn thing...

This one made my day! (tears rolling down my face).

Same! Is it bad that I laughed at this?

I’m the mom and it took all my willpower not to giggle when she said that.

I would have said "I KNOW! Food safety is important"

I feel this way about the “steal your kids’ Halloween candy and record their reaction, then laugh at it” videos. Those are simply mean.

But this, laughing behind their backs about the silly things they are doing, is harmless. And much needed commiseration in a time of parental stress.

I think their early grasp of logic and social interaction so endearing to read. Not so easy to live with tho.
