Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

That seems like a really harsh response. If you have the time to go and interest in the school it is a great way to see what it is all about and see if the program and school are a good fit.

With a new Campus and Covid the school has students attending two days a week in person and the applications for transfers was overwhelming. It will be very hard to get into the school. If lacrosse helps that is great. If you are not otherwise thinking of a private Catholic education going just to play lacrosse does not make sense.

Is the prospect day a new thing since they moved out to Loudoun, or do they regularly have these sessions?

Will be pushed tomorrow against Riverside. From what I’ve seen has more top end talent and maybe deeper. PVI cage might be the difference maker though.

The Virginia High School League issued their return to play guidelines, which is nice - but they are trying to reinvent boys lacrosse as a non-contact sport.

Some sensible things (spread out on the sidelines, etc.), some headscratchers (eliminate faceoffs for the 2021 season and give teams free clears after each goal), but most ridiculous of all: VA is making ALL body checks illegal.

Boys lacrosse is a contact sport where kids wear helmets and gloves. Non-contact Virginia lacrosse should call itself something different, because if it's being played like ultimate frisbee, it's just not the same sport.

The Governor doesn't make recommendations. Bigger question is how are contact checks (much less body checks) not allowed in lacrosse but not mentioned in football at all.
