I agree that focusing on her looks is wrong and unfair. There is plenty to dislike about her without going there. She could be the most beautiful woman on the show. She’d still be an insufferable, condescending human.

What you saw at the reunion was B being who she is. She has no idea how to have a relationship. What was going on between her and Dennis and knowing now that he was a druggie makes it more disgusting. She is vile. She had no compassion for what Carole's friend had been through and was sickeningly jealous that Carole wasn't there to fill her narcicistic needs. I can't stand her.

Totally agree about Carole's nasty energy. I didn't really know how to explain it, the mean girl bitchiness that Carole has, but "super nasty energy" is exactly right. She really needs to grow up.

Agree. I look at the Carole-haters with the same bewilderment that I look at those yahoos wearing Trump shirts and cheering yay behind him at rallies. How can you be so stupid as to support and believe an obvious liar and head case like Bethany over rational, normal Carole?

I can’t stand trump. I also think they were both mean this season. Carole was worse; however. She seriously believes she said nothing mean about B on the show - do you believe that, as well?

I am not a Bethany fan nor a Carole fan. I think Bethany is like a wounded bird, she has so much pain that she masks with all her might but is more transparent than she realizes.

Carole however just has this horribly condescending energy and I am putting her looks aside. The fact that she is unattractive has nothing to do with her horribly narcissistic personality trait. On top of that she seems to latch on like glue to whoever her friend is for the month. I remember her being such a brown nose to Bethany then its to Tinsley except now she is trying to act and look 21 which we know she cannot pull off.

She is just super unlikable and not at all a true friend.

Oh please, I'd make that face too if someone has been badmouthing me all season. I totally agree. I think Andy was backing B mainly because you need some balance in these reunion shows and he obviously thought it would be B, lou, and Sonja at least to counter the full-on attacks from everyone else. But with Lou gone and S not really saying too much, Andy needed to counter all the attacks for balance - it's just being a good host.

And Carole was crazy - Yelling at B for calling people names (calling Dorinda a drunk, which is obviously true) but when Andy said Carole called B names (narcissist) Carole would justify that with "I can speak the truth" or whatever she said. It was like anything she said that was bad was "allowed" because she's calling out the truth, but anything B said that was bad was mean and unsupportive. ugh - Carole is a nasty piece of work.


Oh, and the whole career, husband, baby thing? IIRC, I think that whole thing started without it even being a dig at Carole - it was B just saying we aren't in the same place or we have different lives, because C doesn't have a career or isn't a mother. Everyone else made it into an insult. I may be wrong, but I think originally that's how that whole thing started.

Because most people don't think Carole is normal or rational.

A rational person wouldn't be blindly supporting Dorinda, who has a drinking problem and treats people horribly. A rational person would be able to see that she talked as much shit about Bethenny as Bethenny did about her. A rational person would realize that calling herself a truth-teller when labeling others as she sees fit but then criticizing Bethenny for doing the exact same thing is completely hypocritical behavior. And a rational person would realize that most of what Bethenny said about her was not terribly kind, but true and go from there. Stop being close friends with her, but the whiny scorched earth approach is not a good look.

Bethenny and Carole are both pretty mean when you get right down to it. However, Carole is also delusional. And she and Dorinda are in this warped "friendship" where they tell each other that everything they're doing and saying is all good and somehow they are victims.
