This is where Carole really lost me:
Bethenny: You don't have a career. You're close with Tinsley and you've moved on from hanging out with me and you're hanging out with her instead. (Both objective facts.) Carole: You're creating a narrative about me that is a lie. You're bashing me. You're awful. You're toxic. AND THEN... Carole: You're a narcissist. I'm just calling it like I see it. Oh and I never bashed you. What the actual hell Carole. |
Yep Carole really lost what little fan base she had Thai season- she did it all by herself no wonder Bravo gave her the boot. She is not capable of being a true friend. Think the catalyst was cheapo Adam dumping her ass. |
|
What career does Carole have that she can spend an entire summer with a friend whose husband passed away and produce nothing? That’s not ebbing and flowing. That’s not working on a career. |
I'm honestly amazed by Carole's delusions about her career as well. I do think she has a vile personality, but this part goes beyond that. It's a sign of some sort of personality disorder, not exactly sure what, possibly narcissism... she seems to honestly, genuinely, deep down think she's got this happening career as a journalist/writer. If that were true then her blogs would at least be accurate and entertaining instead of rambling and delusional. It's like she lives in an alternate reality, where she's still 30 years old and everything is great. I guess that's why she dresses, acts, dates the way she does. It's all a bit sad and pathetic. Bethenny is a "wounded bird" as someone pointed out earlier but I do think she's aware of it and how it comes across. I read one of her books that has some stories from her past and she's surprisingly honest and self reflective. I think she just goes for it in life and when you do that, people see cracks. And who would have seen the Jason thing coming. I knew things weren't exactly right with him based on how enmeshed he always was with his parents, but never expected him to turn out the way he did. He always said on camera it was her money, her business, I can't believe the way he feels so entitled to everything now, and how nasty he is. It can't be good for Bryn. Anyway, I can see why she's so hurt. They need a new cast, for sure! I think they should be women with businesses. Not bimbo airheads like Tinsley. It's much more interesting when the women are driven and accomplished and have better things to think about and argue about than the crap they usually argue about these days. |
I think bravo is desperate and let’s face it real quality women are not interested in associating themselves with such a cartoonish franchise. You get your crazies who don’t have much of a storyline beyond the drama they manufacture on an hourly basis.
Ramona and Sonja likely will remain as staples, they are zany and entertaining. Tinsley brings almost nothing to the table. Dorinda needs to go away a long time to rehab. Bethany has her own empire and does not need the show and Carole needs to retreat to a remote island and do some serious soul searching for she has morphed from A nice logical person to a bitter, jealousy driven hateful Person. |
Wait , WHO is delusional here? You honestly think she was innocent in that whole Jason disaster? You supporters have drank the koolaid. Saying hurtful things about a friend just because they are based in fact and thinking that’s ok is the reason this woman has no friends. She told Carole her date was a consolation prize! She said Carole wants to be nine years younger! She insulted her attire, her work (granted it was just a few magazine articles but still). So it’s ok to say B can’t maintain a relationship, for example, in your eyes? True, but nasty, and not what you’d say about a friend on air all season long. See the difference? Carole didn’t say nearly the amount of nasty stuff. Did you hear the list she read off from her phone, all cutting remarks from your girl B just because she was called a narcissist once? Which, let’s face it, B definitely is. So that’s ok to say in your book too. I think they both suck but B is literally one of the worst people I’ve ever watched on TV. |
Np here: the things she read from her phone were largely non offensive. Some she even attributed to b but Ramona actually said them. B was wrong to tell Carole she was a consolation prize but it was only after Carole was in complete denial that the guy wanted b and not c initially. C kept denying it and instead thought b was just feeling rejected. |
I wish Dorrit was on rhonyc. She would show this group how to be classy and elegant, and show how to be a true friend. She would get this group in line. |
Carole clearly wants to be way younger than she is. She's 50. Do you think she dresses or acts like she's 50? She's an embarrassment. 9 years is actually a pretty generous "insult". |
Hahahahahahaha! |
Carole spent a whole season “writing” the reluctant vegan - her cook book with Adam. Never happened.
She was sooo busy being middle aged yet dressing in a tattoo bodysuit. |

DP here: and I don't remember all the things that were read off, but when I was listening to them the main thing I was hearing was B was saying to C how C rejected B - things like "you're being cold or distant (or something like that)" which to me would be something a friend would be saying to someone who cut her off. There were others, but the main thought I had was they all sounded like B was desperately trying to get C back (obviously it wasn't the best way and wasn't nice) but that's the way it sounded to me |
I think Carole felt comfortable saying "et tu, Andy?" because they've known each other for so long. They go way back to the 90s, according to Andy. I don't think Carole got herself fired with that remark or made her coffin. She and Andy have too much history for that. But, yes, I noticed Bethenny's reaction. |
