Bottom line, B is a much more interesting character for the show than C ever was or will be. C really doesn't have a "career" at this point- there was no story line about her writing anything this season- and she was barely writing the past seasons. Running a marathon? Lots of people do that WITH jobs AND children. That's literally the only thing she did this season besides fight with B. It's fine to not work if you don't have to- Tinsley does it unapologetically, but don't compare your career 10 years ago (which was great... then) with B who is at speaking engagements literally every other week and on the cover of business magazines. Maybe that hard bit of truth is why she "left" to focus on her "other projects" or whatever excuse she said. If you're boring and attack essentially the creator of the network's cornerstone branded show, you will be let go. You all saw Ramona kiss Andy's ass during commercial break (and they chose to show that of course)- she fights with B too and for longer-- she's not going anywhere because she knows how to play the game and stay interesting.

PP you’re responding to and I do agree to some extent, but my point was that bethennys face was such a “haha you’re screwed and I’m elated” face. I just think bethenny is vile

I noticed that reaction, too. That's definitely not the face you make when a friend has just lost her job. Even an ex-friend, unless she did something rotten like stole your husband or something. Betheny is straight up mean.

She posted a pic of her and Dorinda on the night of the reunion. Got TONS of hate. TONS.

She posted a pic today and responded to a bunch (at least 8) of pro-Carole comments, thereby boosting them to the top of her feed.

Maybe just let it go at this point? You're probably not changing anyone's mind whatever side they are on and it just feels cringe-worthy that she's taking the time to do that. Yikes.

Re tons of hate. Some is the B. media machine. Yes, she does spend a lot of money on this. Carole was the best member of any cast but then I prefer to avoid the shrill, loud, mememememememe members. This and how Andy treated Kathy Griffin have made me dislike Andy. I also hate his non stop pot references.

Agreed. Please drop Bethenny. Her hyperactive, hypercritical manners bug me. I ff past most of her scenes. I do the same with Lou. Their voices and mannerisms bother me.

I think this goes beyond mean. She's psycho and I wonder how much crap we've been manipulated into believing about other people. She and Jill are queens of deceit while screeching about how honest they are. I'm done with this show. I've already stopped watching all the other rho shows other than oc. They need to bring on young ny singles and make it interesting again. The housewives concept is burnt.

Yeah, that was really low. And okay, making fun of her for not having a career: it's mean, but not unforgiveable. But throwing in her face the fact that she doesn't have a child and can't now, due to her age, is just beyond cruel. Carole obviously suffered the loss of her husband very badly. She never moved on and didn't get remarried or have a child, and it's clear that is the dream she had for her life. Bethenny is ruthless, and it all started because Carole spent too much time with her other friend who's husband has just died and wasn't as available to be Bethenny's sidekick. Simply beyond.

It breaks my heart that carol abd Bethany aren’t friends anymore. They were the epitome of what bffs should be. I’ve been bawling since watching the reunion show. It just hurts so much.

Agree. She’s disgusting. Carole even said that she planned to have a child with her husband. How horrible can you be? And going on and on that she achieved more than Carole this decade- who cares? That makes you somehow better? She has nothing else.

Im not a fan of bethenny’s but i thought carol came off horribly this season and at the reunion. Andy wasn’t backing Bethenny - they absolutely both trashed each other. Whenever C was confronted with something she said that was nasty, she essentially pushed it aside (seeming to think if it was true in her mind, she was justified in saying something). Moments later she’d again claim she never said anything bad about b (even after previously saying she did say things, like b was narcissistic). It’s like when she repeatedly said all season she hopes they would be friends? In reality, there was nothing during the season that showed that to be true. C doesn’t see things accurately.

She seemed the most mad that B said she had no career. Wth? Sure, careers ebb and flow but for the most part carol now dabbles in things and even then openly admits she can’t meet deadlines. To go on and on about age shaming? Gmafb. She said that B couldn’t keep relationships. That’s a worse dig than saying someone wishes they were 45 again.

b is no angel but carole was awful. Even her reaction and murmuring yes over and over when Andy read her nasty blog aloud...she came across as vile and hateful

Yeah, honestly, I didn't fault Bethenny for that. Carole came out with her Dream Team and had an agenda. "I've got your back; I've got your back; I've got your back." Meaning, right or wrong, I will side with you against someone else--no matter what. I'll pretend like I like you (Ramona) and that you aren't a hot mess (Dorinda) if it means we take down the B.

What I saw at the renunion was B finally clear-headed on what a jerk Carole is and she no longer felt sad. I was glad for her that B was done sniveling over the lost friendship and trying to figure out how to be Carole's friend again. So I took her reactions as bemused and detached. Hard to fault her.

Carole just has a super nasty energy. Her and Dorinda together brought this season way, way down.
