Why is the media not covering ICE resistance in LA?

The Constitution and freedom are always given lip service by republicans but they do not believe in any of that.

Absolutely. Let’s do this now rather than later.

Why? To turn off moderates from Democrats even further?

That's where you are wrong.

Why is Trump so adamant that he'll punish Musk if he contributes money to the Dems? Because the GOP has been worried and in a panic for months about mid-terms. It's not a secret. They saw their members getting eviscerated at their local Town Halls and tried to spin it as angry leftist libs, but no one bought that. Not after the media started interviewing the participants of this Town Halls and found out the truth about many: they were Republicans who'd voted for Trump and who were now angry at him.

Look at the elections that have been held since Trump took office. The Wisconsin Supreme Court race. A FL Dem flipped Escambia county to blue for the first time since 1960. The Dem candidate ultimately lost, but still flipped this county and outperformed himself from the previous election (2024: Gaetz 66% to Valimont 34% and 2025: Patronis: 59% to Valimont 42%). The GOP lost 7 and the Dems gained 8. And just this past Saturday, San Antonio elected an openly gay, ex-military Democratic mayor (Ortiz Jones 56% to Pablos 46%).

The Democratic party isn't a party that is "pro illegals". We are party that is PRO following the Constitution and order of law. Did we protest when Obama and Biden carried out millions more deportations than Trump? No, because both did it the correct way with the correct due process.

Even now, those protesting in LA who are not doing it peacefully and who are throwing things at officers, sitting fires, and looting should be arrested. Those are not peaceful protests. Those actions are not covered by the first amendment. Do we think it's hilarious and ironic that the Republicans are spouting off about how violence against LEO is a huge crime and won't be tolerated despite the fact that Trump pardoned all the J6ers on day one? Sure, but 99% of us also think that those who are lighting things on fire and looting should be arrested for their illegal actions.

The people protesting are blocking lawful deportations and shouting that they want illegals to stay. That is not the “party of correct due process” - those are people who don’t support existing law and don’t want it enforced.

Showing once again that Democrats are bad at messaging. These images would have power if they had featured American flags instead of Mexican, but instead it's like 'f 'em'.

This is what loses the argument and the sympathy of most Americans. If their country is so great, why are they fighting to stay in America? Is it because they want to take over America? Those images tell the story of our police and National Guard fighting to capture foreign invaders.

Whatever, just make some noise, throws some rocks, act like feral animals!

OMFG - the democrats in 2025 are both insane and dangerous!

Now democrats in other cities are rioting too.

The orchestration is on the part of the Administraton. Last week, Stephen Miller made a reference to ICE rolling people up at Home Depot and a scant few days later, we have ICE rolling up people at Home Depot. ICE and the Administration is causing this. How did Obama and Biden deport 5x the number of "illegals' than Trump and do it in a way that didn't cause protests?[/quote
Let in one million at the border, catch and deport 100,000 of them. Trump isn't letting them in at the border, so he doesn't have this means of goosing his numbers.

I mean what is the thinking here? Do these protesters not realize they are making a very compelling argument for their immediate arrest and expulsion?

After watching these riots, I can guarantee that Trump's popularity is getting a big boost this week. I'm not sure why progressives are encouraging this violence. Americans are pretty clear they want an end to illegal immigration. This would be unacceptable in every country on Earth.

It’s all the illegals know.

Entitlement. Illegal activities. Cash pay. Whine, cry, yell, throw things, bring your anchor bebes.

Melania brought over her entire family and was working illegally while on a tourist visa when she first came to the US. How do you feel about that? Or is that different?

Was she educated and literate in her native country?
Did she speak English?
Did she learn English?
Did she work cash pay black market job?
How’d she “pull in” her “entire family” under a tourist visa or expired tourist visa?

Was she educated and literate in her native country? She was a HS grad so presumably literate. Are you suggesting that other migrants are all illiterate?

Did she speak English? Barely

Did she learn English? Doesn't appear that her English has improved much, despite being here almost 30 years. You'd think all that money would have paid for an English language tutor at some point in those three decades. I know migrants who came here as young adults (as she did) and speak much better than her. Heck, my immigrant mother who also had only a HS education spoke better than Melania.

Did she work cash pay black market job? Don't know. She "modeled" for a few months on a tourist visa before getting work permission.

How’d she “pull in” her “entire family” under a tourist visa or expired tourist visa? She had legal status when she pulled in her entire family (see below). Are you suggesting that other migrants who are not in compliance with immigration law can legally bring in their family members?

"Melania Trump was a U.S. citizen when she sponsored her parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, for their green cards. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2006, after obtaining a green card in 2001 through the EB-1 program for individuals with "extraordinary ability." Her parents, who were legal permanent residents (green card holders) before becoming citizens in August 2018, were likely sponsored by Melania through family-based immigration, a process often referred to as "chain migration."

lol…ohhhh, you far righters think that we are talking about voting!

Look around, your child king is starting a war. This isn’t going to wait 16 months because Dr Diapers doesn’t want it to. He knows he’s done at the next election so he is starting a war with the American people.

The cars that were being burned were Waymos. If anyone has been to California, then you know how much everyone hates them. I get it that middle America hasn't experience this yet, but no one living out there is shedding a tear over their loss.

That makes it ok? No. We can’t go around burning and destroying things we don’t like just because we don’t like them.

of course it doesn't make it ok, but context is important. they were not police cars or the cars of private citizens.

In an appearance on Fox News, he (Homan) said, "No one is above the law. If they cross the line, if they commit a crime-- absolutely they can [be arrested] ... All you hear is ICE being racists, being Nazis and Governor Newsom feeds that."

You know why that’s all you hear? Because that’s how people feel.
