Always chuckle when posters say the decision to go ivy is up to them … |
Not the PP but am curious what the explanation is here? GC has players who hail from the same clubs as other ISL and WCAC teams yet their recruiting numbers are lower than other schools. Why? |
could it be not rounding out the student part of the student athlete? |
| 14 Penn Charter - 4 SR final. SR shut out into 3Q. No doubt Penn Charter started putting in subs. They’re a very strong team. |
I don't think that's what that person was saying. Ivies are not the end all be all. But I realize for the people on this forum it is all about status. |
it actually is. No school is guaranteed to get the players they recruit. MANY have past on that tuition. |
Why would anyone pass on the small most liberal schools in America? |
You meant “passed” lol and no, it’s not. Ivies find ways around tuition and any player who doesn’t have the skills *and* the grades / scores can want one all day long but won’t get in. |
The ones who couldn’t get in anyway and hate making six figures after graduation (probably). |
Can never make the Ivy or bust elitist people happy. |
Trump, Vance, Cruz, Hawley, Desantis, Cotton to name a few thought going to most elite schools in the world was a good idea. I guess they were able to handle it without wilting. |
| GC 13 > GV 4 |
| Is Visi still down a bunch to injuries? |
No |
| GC just better. Dominated the draw until late when they started putting more subs in. Visi couldn't crack the GC defense. |
