Perhaps a dumb question: how did Harry and Meghan afford their new $15 million dollar home in Malibu?

Does he just have a large reserve bank account that he received at birth? I thought the royals just got XX dollars a month or year from Charles to sustain their current expenses.
Where did this large lump sum come from? Anyone have any guesses?

Meghan also made money as an actress.

Plus, lots and lots of money and hidden accounts, properties, farms etc that normal people do not know about. BRF is wealthy AF. If most people knew how much there would be a revolution. Many swiss accounts for the minor royalty too. Its like Mafia.

No. All the working royals are paid money by the tax-payers. All weddings - paid by tax payers. All security and upkeep - paid by taxpayers. Harry has been working royal for a long time. Plus, his pension from the military service. Erm... no.. the government controlled the East India company- and profited heavily from it. The monarchy couldn’t have stopped it if it wanted to as it hasn’t had any real power since the 1600s, arguably even earlier.

Oh please. The monarchy is sitting on the Cullinan Diamond among many others. Each worth over $100 million. They got them for free because of the East India trade and the exploitation of South African mines.

The diamonds are just the public proof of their greed. They got plenty of kickbacks, taxes (don't forget that India was impoverished to pay British taxes and at the time the monarch had UNDISPUTED reign over royal coffers - no one was checking what they did with the 100s of millions they stole from the colonies).
