No. All the working royals are paid money by the tax-payers.  All weddings - paid by tax payers. All security and upkeep - paid by taxpayers.  Harry has been working royal for a long time. Plus, his pension from the military service. Plus, his purse being Duke of Sussex (he is still the duke, still a prince, just not His Royal Highness), the investments and trustfunds in his name because these people are too rich.  He is basically FIRE because everything was paid by british tax payers and he saved and invested his money by the advice of very highly paid financial advisors who overlook the BRF investments and make sure that they are fully diversified.  His own money and investments have grown.  He is not a pauper. He is easily worth $50 mil.  At the end of the day, he is still eating normal food and not gold nuggets.  He is a hot property right now due to his many many connections around the world - corporations, celebrities, faishon industry, royalty, hollywood, bollywood (lets not forget the Priyanka Chopra connection), sports, charity work...he can easily command a million in just speaking fees.
