Why would he have touched any of it? Taxpayers cover basically everything for working royals and before he was working he was in the military. I haven’t seen anything saying they actually purchased this place but that said do you really know no one whose parents gave them a down payment for their home? Or provided a nanny (including grandparents who provided themselves for free childcare)?

That said...they definitely will run out of money if they have to pay the security costs.
