Actually, I have a relative who is married to a native spanish speaker and he legit speaks with a spanish accent now. It happens. And refer to comment about having compassion for the mentally ill since you truly think she is NUTS.

That’s bizarre. I know several bi-national marriages, including my own parents, and nobody has adopted the others accent. Also, hillary is married to a fellow American, so that rationale doesn’t go too far. By the logic of your analogy, we’d expect Alec to adopt the fake spanish accent.

And yes, if she’s mentally ill, sure we should have compassion. But I use “nuts” in the casual not mentally ill way- more than her behavior and defensiveness is ridiculous.

Wrong. When a public figure commits the misdeeds in public, they need to publicly apologize. When they don't, they won't be forgiven by the public for their transgressions.

Hilary has managed to hire the WORST PR firm I've ever seen. You have mishandled her little scandal from the start and actually seem intent on making things worse for her. If she doesn't get competent representation soon, her reputation will be unsalvageable. While it doesn't appear that she cares about her reputation at all, she has six children to consider. Hillary should give some thought as to how her behavior will affect their future because it certainly will.

And if she would have just said exactly THAT, everyone would have been more forgiving.

I don't think it is racist, I think it is sad. She obviously admires Spanish culture and feels deeply insecure about herself, so she lies. But if you watch her IG the day after she was busted, her accent is completely GONE.

No explanation of where it went, she had it for years and years and in a single day... GONE.
No apology, no explanation of where her accent went in a single day, no nothing.

She went from sounding like Charo to sounding like Hillary from Boston the next -- and you wonder why people aren't more forgiving?

People feel like she's STILL continuing to take them for fools, and those are hard feelings to reconcile when it's ongoing.

That is all this is about. Her absurdity and lack of authenticity. Coming on here and making it more than that is absurd. She keeps posting silly content and people keep seeing it and commenting. This is not complicated nor does it need to be pathologized.

I will start. Yesterday or so she posted a story of how she “had” to sit her “a$$” between 2 baby car seats in her friends car. This is the most obvious type of ED thin body humble bragging I have ever. It is so middle school, look at me, I’m so little I fit between two kids seats. No wonder everyone automatically hates her. It’s so annoying.
