Who cares if she knows how to apply fake tanner or not. The bigger point is that she lied about who she is and where she is from. Because she still to this day claims that she is brown skinned because of her Spanish heritage. And still compares her poorly fake tanned skin to her children’s to point out further this fake identity.

Why does she pretend to be Spanish instead of Mexican or some Latin country that’s closer to the US? Spain is way out there and unfamiliar to us Americans.

The thing with hilaria though is that what she will do with call outs like this is ignore all the other comments and hyper focus on the one thing people are getting wrong.

So for example in the tanner scenario, let’s say she doesn’t actually use fake tanner, she will completely ignore the glaring bigger lies and problems such as misrepresenting her ethnicity and constantly comparing her skin color to her kids, and just focus on the fact that people are making up “lies” about her such as the fake tanner stuff. Then she will accuse everyone of fixating on her skin color when she was the one who started the whole thing in the first place by focusing on her and her kids skin color.

It’s a never ending maze of confusion and never ending gaslighting with her! She reminds me of those crazy people you meet in life that you then avoid at all costs because you realize they are constantly surrounded by chaos and problems.

Probs because she went to vacation in Spain with her family and then decided on her return that her trip would be so much more interesting if she now spoke with an accent and identified with the local culture too. If her parents had bought a vacation home in Mexico instead she probs would indeed be Mexican.

I don't think it is racist, I think it is sad. She obviously admires Spanish culture and feels deeply insecure about herself, so she lies. But everybody in the world now knows she is lying, so at this point I don't even think it is a lie anymore. It's a sad, desperate act. If it makes her feel better to keep up the accent that everyone knows is fake, just let her.

But if you watch her IG the day after she was busted, her accent is completely GONE.

No explanation of where it went, she had it for years and years and in a single day... GONE.

She went from sounding like Charo to sounding like Hillary from Boston the next -- and you wonder why people aren't more forgiving?

People feel like she's STILL continuing to take them for fools, and those are hard feelings to reconcile when it's ongoing.

Because she likes Spain, not another country. Not all Spanish speaking places are the same.
