Would you rather be in the US or UK during Coronovirus

If you had asthma, would you rather be in the UK or US during coronovirus outbreak? Just looking at the situation in both countries, where would you get more medical help if needed (incl.testing). And would you fly now?

Right now I would stay put wherever as flying seems fraught with a chance to catch it.
And even with the US insanity I'd still rather be here. The governors are paying attention and taking charge and closing things down, ordering labs to produce tests etc. Boris Johnson seems to have gone off the deep end and doesn't believe the brits could manage a lockdown so just build immunity by sacrificing the at risk population now.

US. I think the UK system is going to be overwhelmed because they are not doing much about containment. There was a national rugby match played with a huge stadium filled with fans on Saturday.

Trump is showing a huge lack of leadership but at least we have governors with power. UK is happy to let folks die in a misguided effort to gain fast immunity.

US. At least we have homes with bigger lots and more storage space, so can socially isolate as much as possible in most areas.

This. It's funny because you think of the checks on power as being the three branches of federal gov't. But actually we are seeing state autonomy be the real check and balance.

I agree but Taiwan is partially luck because the Chinese make it so hard for Chinese citizens to go there (Chinese need to be part of a documented tour group to Taiwan in order to avoid being influenced by the Taiwanese govt). So tracking is easy because every Chinese visitor’s footsteps could be traced as one of these big official groups that only go to certain sites and are not allowed to chat or have contact with random Taiwanese people.

Korea. Drive through rapid turnaround testing with text results, 24 hour citizen hotline for any questions, etc.

I normally don't like that states have so many individual powers but this situation is changing my mind.
