Would you rather be in the US or UK during Coronovirus

Uggggggh.

At least Boris Johnson is not incompetent, though he is also a liar like the US president.

I don’t know, do you think the professional government civil servants will take over in the US? If so, we probably have better public health resources. Or at least we used to.

Korea for sure. UK and US are both f-ed.

US where home is.

US! Duh!

I’d rather be in the US because we have bigger refrigerators. 😁

The US if you have health insurance, UK if not. We have a much higher population density in the UK, and we import about half of our food. Here I can barely see the neighbors, and I am not worried that food is going to run out. I’m thinking a small island in Scotland might be good. I could self-isolate with a large crate of whiskey and plenty of logs for the fire and go for long walks every day.

Scotland “hopes” to bring up the number of ICU beds to 378, right now they have half of that amount. DC is coming home to the US, no second thoughts.

The U.K. is putting more responsibility on the most vulnerable without imposing severe restrictions for those who are not. Perhaps not a bad approach. Here the schools are closed but the playgrounds are full, which kind of defeats the purpose anyway. At least in the UK there is some semblance of normalcy.

This. It's funny because you think of the checks on power as being the three branches of federal gov't. But actually we are seeing state autonomy be the real check and balance.

Go Tenth Amendment!

Korea definitely. They just said they’re bringing criminal charges against the heads of the cult church most the cases there were linked to for violating the rules.

Some Chinese living overseas are now trying to flee Canada, Europe and the USA to get back to Hong Kong.

Canada doesn’t have enough tests and no plan. Trudeau said nothing until his wife was diagnosed. He is getting lots of heat for it. They are woefully unprepared too.
