I rather be in Greenland. No body has it there so far.
Live in an igloo. |
|
There has been a case in greenland - announced today.
I would like to be in Singapore, China, or South Korea. I think both US and UK are likely to be messy. Probably US may be better if you have good insurance. But I wouldn't travel in any case. |
|
US they don't ration care for those over 60. In UK they ration care.
China YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY! THEY PULLED PEOPLE OUT OF APARTMENT COMPLEXES WHO HAD SNIFFLES AND PUT THEM IN WARDS WITH KNOWN CORONA. IF YOU DID NOT HAVE CORONA YOU DID ONCE THE MILITARY PUT YOU IN THE WARDS. CHINA ARRESTED THE DOCTOR WHO REPORTED THE VIRUS. HE WAS MADE TO RETRACT HIS STATEMENT. HE IS A REAL HERO. HE SADLY DIED FROM THE VIRUS. CHINA ARRESTED BLOGGERS WHO REPORTED ON THE VIRUS EARLY ON. THEIR FAMILIES HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. THE BLOGGER WHO REPORTED ARE PROBABLY WITH THE 1 MILLION MUSLIM CHINESE THAT CHINA HAS ARRESTED TO "RETRAIN" AND INDOCTRINATE. |
| Singapore without a doubt. Island nation of only around 5 million makes it manageable to track and isolate. They had developed rapid tests by the first week in Feb. they have a modern healthcare system. If there is a chance the virus doesn't do as well in the heat, it is plenty hot there. |
Rationing care is a good idea. In the US they intubate 90-year old Alzheimers patients and give them chemo when they get cancer. It destroys their quality of life but they make money out of it. I would much rather die peacefully at home. In any case, both the US and UK will be rationing care if this thing isn't controlled. there are only so many ventilators... |
Same. I will get an igloo...many many many feet away. |
Your all-caps response makes you sound unhinged. Yes, China would be better than this shithole run by idiots. |
We don't openly ration care, but it isn't true that everyone has access to the same care and drugs. That is controlled by the powers that be, and they do effectively ration it behind the scenes. My physician's prescribed drug for my child was denied, and we were forced to accept a worse drug (more side effects). Others can get the preferred drug. Feels like rationing. |
OP here. Greenland )) this made me smile. I think South Korea has the right idea. US has better hospitals. UK..not sure and this herd.immuity idea scares me.
|
| It really depends where. Place like Texas hell no! They f%ck up Ebola. |
| US |
one is not like the other. as for the question.. it depends on where in the US. i don't think it's going to be the same everywhere. |
would really not want to be in NYC. |
| US. I'm in the UK and it can't be worse. I went to two groceries yesterday and there was almost nothing, and this is London. People are panicked. Boris Johnson, the fox-hunt supporting toff, is fine with the little people taking a hit to achieve 'herd immunity.' We are so densely populated here, and this morning my colleagues and I agreed that yes, we are all going to get it. I just hope my case is mild. |

We are british so actually have a choice(subject to travel restrictions). We would rather stay here as long as we have health insurance. If we dont have health insurance (i.e lose our jobs) then we would obviously go back to the UK.
It really depends on where you have access to medical help if you need it. Of course, the reality might be that it is available no where.
