I'm looking for some good semi-educational movies or mini-series to watch with the kids over the next month.
We are doing the HBO mini-series John Adams for my Revolutionary War-loving kid. Will probably also do Saving Private Ryan - we started it a few months ago but didn't finish it. Any other suggestions or ideas? Kids are 8, 11 and 16 by the way. |

Little House on the praire.
There was a show on AMCa little while ago called Turn set during the revolutionary war. Could only get through a few episodes. Elizabeth- but may be a little old for 8 year old Shakespeare in Love Madness of King George Last of the Mohicans Dances with Wolves Braveheart |
