BEST at home work out with minimal jumping

Anonymous
The gym wasn’t in our budget anymore, sadly. Walking and running won’t work for me.

Looking for GREAT at home work out videos that are easy and quick and CHEAP. Looking for minimal jumping, if possible.

I have, like, 75 pounds to lose so it has to be a SUPER workout system. Thank you.

Jillian Michaels DVD’s. I’ve been doing them for years.

Also, not to be that person, but with 75 pounds to lose it’s going to be mostly about diet. You don’t need a super workout, just one that you enjoy enough to do consistently.

Thanks. Jillian Michaels was who was going to say as a NOT example. I think she relies on jumping a lot!

The “best” workout is the on you’ll do regularly.

Search on youtube for “quiet cardio” or “low impact hiit” or “apartment friendly workout” and check out videos over 20 min.

Jessicasmithtv has some good beginner ones.

Try them out, save the ones you like, over time you’ll have a good library to rotate through and a better idea of what to spend money on.

Get an app like Neou or Jet Sweat. They both have tons of workout options.

Easy and quick workouts are, by definition, not super effective. You may want to adjust your expectations, or it could become demoralizing.

I disagree. Increasing your activity level while decreasing your caloric intake is a great way to kickstart weight loss.

They have a lot of low-impact workouts, and even on the high-impact/jumping ones, they often give low-impact modifications

OP, I use the Tone It Up channel videos. I don't do jumping either.

Have you looked into your health insurance for good deals on gym memberships? I have BCBS Federal and they have some good monthly deals.

I l9ve Fitness Blender. I am doing the plyometrics (jumping) because I am a 50 year old woman. I want to try the HIIT workouts. I am able to do them. I feel I get a better workout in less time.

get a subscription to beachbody online. they have great workouts, its $100/yr, and you can pick ones that suit your needs. I think even p90x has modifications for people who have issues with jumping.
