This is for next fall when SY starts.

Nice dodge again. No clubs allow choosing to play up around here and nobody asking for GY at showcases (except you for Aug kids). But you keep complaining about nothing. |

They didn't. They sent him on time. June 2012 birth should go to 8 the grade next year. Their made up story didn't math. |
Watch what rosters look like for top teams this fall. All players will magically be the same grade in school. If you want to really see whats going on look at the 8th grade teams which almost always will have all players the same graduating year (grade in school). |
Grade cutoff is Sept in NVA. Their kid had a June birthday.. They held their kid back, it just happened in 1st grade. |
Playing up could cause a 23 month difference. Probably why DC area teams don't let players choose to play up. |
Will wishcasting no proof. Kids go to school late, early, skip grades, get held back. Not all teams will be on grade because of this and because most travel teams don't know or care what grade kids are in. |
This makes no sense. You're sayjng schools allow kids to be two years advanced in grades? How many kids have you met that skipped a grade? How many have you met that skipped two grades? Even if a kid was to skip a grade it means that now they have to compete with players in that grade if they want to play in college. |
No, you are setting unsuspecting parents up for holding their kid back in school if Aug birthdays play down a grade. What will happen is college coaches won't pay attention to them because they're playing down. So to address parents will hold their kid back in school to align grade in school and level played in club and get another year of recruiting. |
Its called math which is probably something you're not familiar with. (I'm familiar with spelling also.) |
Clubs in DC won't allow choosing to play up.so your wrong. And your rando opinion has already been proven wrong. Eastside FC said college coaches don't care what age group you are in. Play wherever, college coaches evaluate transfers, redshirts, foreign and HS players from good and bad teams. They take the best fits regardless of team the recruits play for. Will this impact college recruiting? The new two-year age group structure will not negatively impact college recruiting. College coaches evaluate players based on their performance, development, and potential—not the exact age grouping of their club team. |
Again even if they skipped a grade in school. If you want to get recruited by college coaches players will need to play on the team thats their graduating year / grade in school. Or you'll be ignored because you're not playing at the same level as your "grade in school cohorts". |
Again, college coaches dont care about age because graduating year / grade in school is all that matters to them. If Aug birthday players play down and are misaligned they will get ignored by college coaches when they're looking to get recruited. |
