I read the whole thing and what surprised me most was that THE AUDIT he’s been yammering about all this time is actually real. And spectacular.

I see what you did there 😂

Yup. He’s potentially in the hole for $73 million. And Anyone can see he doesn’t have it.

1.1 billion.

How much do Trump supporters pay in taxes?

Not an accountant here, but how does a person pay for the regular stuff of life - food, clothing, heat, shelter, transportation - with so little income as to generate virtually no income tax? How can a person - not a business but a person - have big enough losses to erase ALL their taxable income? I mean the business can't pay for ALL your personal expenses.

Newly relevant in light of Trump’s enormous debts.

Ah yes, Kavanaugh’s magically disappearing debt. Kennedy’s deal to step down. And now this.

Trumplandia is so swampy. So much swamp. So much goo-filled swamp.

what do you think it is? that Kennedy's son is guilty so they blackmailed his father to retire?

Not an accountant either but essentially he can take those losses in chunks, so in real life, it’s not like he made no money and can’t pay for anything. It means if he had $75M in losses one year, he could take those losses over a period of years.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I think part of the problem with the GOP corruption is that most of us are not wired that way. We literally cannot conceive of these layers of corruption, crime, coverup, buyoff, favor paying, etc., and the usually lazy way in which the mainstream media covers it - piece by piece, a dribble here, a dribble there - makes it impossible to connect all the dots all the time.

Less than undocumented workers?

He claims he's donated all of it.

Yes but if it's income, before you donate it, you pay taxes on it.

It’s a relatable number because even people who make minimum wage pay more than this in income taxes. It’s burned into the national psyche and is such an easy to understand talking point.

As we see, Republicans lawyers and accountants will be trotted out to try to explain it away. But for the average voter? Their eyes glaze over with the swamp-talk and just remember “750 dollars.”

Trump is now playing defense; he’s terrible at defense. It’s when he is at his weakest and most pathetic because he is a control freak.

$750. It will be his Romney “takers” moment.

We should start a fundraising campaign. Everyone donate $750 to Act Blue in the name of DJT.
