Here we go again. Telling half the country that they are horrible. This isn't changing anything. You can stop now.

Then you are really angry about comments like these from Trump's rally, right? Because otherwise you are a hypocrite and you don't actually care about the words being said as long as the "right" person says it.

""The whole f-ing party a bunch of degenerates"

"We need to slaughter these other people."

The actual video clips are even worse than the headlines!!

Ugh I can't believe there are parents on this thread who support him. Anybody would be fired from any professional job for saying 1/100th of this level of hate and slurs.

And yet this is Trump's "closing argument"??

They cannot even pick entertainment for a Rally and you want them to pick the secretary of defense?

Then why do you think Trump and team did it? Why did they use their closing rally to tell half the country that they are horrible?

Well, they are. To quote MAGA, "F your feelings".

I would guess that brain trust working for Trump honestly thought on some level that they’re supported by a majority of Americans, that all of us have that much hatred and bullying masquerading as “comedy” in us.

Nope. That was one weird, freaky display of grossness.

This. They didn't even realize it was offensive until they woke up the next day and read all the headlines. They took too long to acknowledge it was a mess and try to distance themselves.

And they only are distancing themselves from their hand-picked comedian. What about what Tucker Carlson, Vivek Ramaswamy, and all the others said. The Jew, Arab, women, Samoan jokes were all said by people other than the comedian.

Turns out the campaign staff knew about Hinchcliffe’s “jokes” and other speakers’ inappropriate comments in advance because they were preloaded into the prompter. I’m not sure how they can pretend to distance themselves from that.

“Like the rest of the speakers who took the stage before Trump, Hinchcliffe’s remarks were pre-loaded into a teleprompter, indicating that they would likely have been vetted by the campaign in advance.”

The Daily Beast is generally considered a left-leaning or liberal news outlet. Known for its investigative journalism and opinion pieces, it tends to present news from a progressive or Democratic-leaning perspective, particularly in its coverage of political, social, and cultural issues in the U.S. and abroad.

That doesn't negate the fact that the speeches were loaded into the prompter and had review from the campaign in advance.

Trump campaign promised a neo-Nazi rally and delivered in spades.

I'm voting for the candidate who keeps their promises.

No they didn't. They held a rally and said Beyonce would be there. She was.

Had never heard of the guy before yesterday. Making jokes at the expense of people's race, nationality etc is really in bad taste. I get why Trump and MAGAs love him then.

I'd never heard of him before yesterday.

I read the articles bashing his rally. The actual video clips are worse than what was described. WTF?

It’s always worse than the mainstream media reports - that’s why people have been talking about “sanewashing” so much lately.

I’ve watched every roast - going back to Trump’s and even earlier. He didn’t make fun of “all races and genders” at that rally and it was a really stupid choice to have a roast comic there in the first place. And if it’s true that they didn’t read his routine beforehand like they’re trying to make us believe, that’s gross incompetence. If they read it beforehand and approved it that’s worse.

Why was that comedian upset that "Latinos make babies"? I thought conservatives like everyone to have babies...

His reaction to it only came after the stink got on him. That's the only time any of these a-holes care, when the stink lands on them. I hope it's too little, too late.

I think it's too late and yeah they only bothered to distance themselves from the comedian's comments, not the hate comments from Tucker, the guy calling Harris the devil, the comments making fun of Jews and Arabs or Trump's own "enemy within" comments. Trump wanted to say the quiet part out loud and his rally was a celebration of that. If he's elected there will be more Charlottesville rallies and more Proud Boys and more disinformation and hate. Trump and everything he stands for is irredeemable.

WTAF?

I don't get GOP being annoyed at the "bullseye" comment from Biden.... But this is ok??

They never really cared about the bullseye comment or anything else. They just want to kill us Democrats. Fun, right?

Remember it was two democrats that tried to assassinate trump? I didn't forget!
