WCAC lax doesn’t have much competition. Championship is between one of two schools every year. Lax is not the leagues’ strength.

WCAC has always been viewed as football and hoops conference first, lacrosse is an after thought, even thought it has made some serious strides in the past decade.

After GZ and SJC, there is a rather large drop off between PVI (graduated a mega senior class and coaching situation is messy) and DeMatha the next tier of teams. Will be interesting to see Good Counsel can make a push to compete with PVI and DM this Spring and exp

GZ and SJC should cruise to the WCAC finals this Spring.

Hope so but not hearing good things.

The question was who looked good this weekend from the local area. Fall ball being fall ball and players missing, coaches not playing to win, teams splitting up, etc…having said that, Landon looked really strong. Especially considering they seemed to be playing equal rotations and getting everyone on the field. Prep will have their hands full trying to capture the IAC title this season. My early money is on Landon to fly under the radar at the start of the season and they might end up being the best team in the dmv next spring.

The Bears are senior heavy, expect for them to contend this spring.

My top 4.

1. GP
2. SJC (if Duenkel is out for the spring, they will drop)
3. Landon
4. Gonzaga

Solid list but who does a top 4? Top 5, top 10, even top 3 but a top 4?

I would add Bullis as the top 5. I do not think STA deserves credit for fall after last season but again they always win the fictional fall season.

Bullis wasn’t that impressive at the max lax event.

They are a year away.

Why is Landon going to be good? 7 Losses last year, 6 the year before that. They haven't beaten a top team in those 2 years. They graduated their defense and the kids aging up aren't as good. I'm predicting another 6 loss year with a few tight games against 1-2 top teams from DC or Baltimore.

If you are playing attention, these are the most talented teams.
